Dear All, Goodday. I am looking for free Limiter VST with ceiling and threshold feature, i found one - Maxwell Smart but it does not support 64bit windows. Other VSTs come with threshold but not ceiling, anyone could recommend any? The famous W1 limiter VST Plugin (and therefore W1 – for compatibility reasons) uses an actual release time three times as long as the standard RT60 metric. This means that if you set a 50ms release in the limiter, it will actually produce a standard RT60 release time of 150ms.

The current beta also adds the adaptive version. I tried to reproduce the L2 waves, however, their tangent curve is very complex, so I could only approximate its behavior (which should actually be quite close, but unlike the L1 part, not numerically identical). Waves ARC uses fixed thresholds of 250 and 500 ms, while W1 still allows the release time to be changed in adaptive mode. Additionally, IDR framing is not emulated.
