You can extract a MIDI part from your audio. This is useful if you want to copy the tune and sound of your audio with a MIDI instrument or VST instrument.

The audio file is segmented and the segments are correct. All pitch and timing changes are completed. You have opened the audio in the Sample Editor and activated the Segments tool in the VariAudio section.

Just connect your guitar and let MIDI Guitar do the rest. MIDI Guitar comes in a few variants: as standalone Windows/Mac standalone applications that can host VST/AudioUnit instruments and effects or as VST/AudioUnit plugins that can be hosted inside your favorite Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. There is also an app for iOS.

1. In the VariAudio section, click Extract MIDI.
2. In the Extract MIDI dialog that opens, make your settings and click OK.
